Working in real estate is both an honor and a pleasure for Diane Smith. As a local agent serving all of North Texas, Diane finds the most joy in her interactions with clients, who often come to see her as a dear friend. Her philosophy is that real estate should be relational as well as transactional: buyers and sellers should always be treated as if they were family. She has a real empathy for families in guiding them through their relocation as her family has had the opportunity to relocate many times throughout the years. Diane’s range of expertise includes working with her Buyer from start to finish in building their new home. She has new construction experience having been involved in the community sales representative side of real estate sales. She works with Sellers and Buyers in the Luxury Market, First time homeowners, Investors, Sellers down-sizing to Vacation Properties.

Diane fell in love with real estate through her father who had the gift of construction. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and an Associates in Paralegal Studies, Diane obtained her first real estate license in Kansas while working as a real estate paralegal which was her first career position out of college. Followed shortly thereafter she obtained her license in Missouri. Diane began her real estate career with Coldwell Banker and has been with Coldwell Banker Apex since 2010. Diane lived in Georgia for 3 years whereby she obtained her real estate license never wanting to get out of the business so if you have any questions about real estate in Georgia, give her a call.

Clients find Diane to be far less interested in her multiple certifications, accreditations, and awards than she is in their present needs. To every client, Diane brings generosity in all forms: constant availability, forthright communication, shared knowledge, and especially faithfulness. That precise approach led to Diane being recognized with the Coldwell Banker Customer Service Award, the one honor that best approximates her personality.

More than just a full-service agent, Diane is active in her church, volunteers in her community with non-profits and loves spending time with her family. She treasures time with her husband, Walt, four grown children, and their beautiful families which include two precious grandsons. Even when she is not serving clients, the subject of real estate comes up as a shared interest as her son, Logan Naylor, followed in her professional footsteps and her daughter-in-love is also a Realtor in Arizona. Diane relaxes by spoiling her grandson, working on design projects, being involved in a Ladies Bible Study, and loving on her miniature goldendoodle, Ms. Charlie!
